Resource & Partnership DiscussionsSouth Africa

Support our work

Bringing accessible artificial intelligence and technology learning to South African children requires tangible resources, safe venues, connectivity, and practical equipment. We invite businesses, philanthropic partners, and individuals to explore how we can collaborate.

Tax status and financial transparency note

AI Grassroots does not offer automated online payments or publish unverified bank account details. We do not claim tax-deductible status, Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) accreditation, or Section 18A SARS certificates unless formally verified.

All financial and material contributions are arranged directly through transparent, auditable bilateral agreements once formal registrations are complete.

Tangible Needs

Six key areas where your support matters

Every contribution directly strengthens accessible education for children.

Suitable computers and equipment

Refurbished or working laptops, desktop monitors, keyboards, mice, microcontrollers (e.g. Raspberry Pi or micro:bit), and protective storage cases.

Connectivity & internet access

Mobile data packages, Wi-Fi routers, local SIM bundles, and community network partnerships to ensure workshops can access web-based educational tools.

Learning materials & printing

Printed activity workbooks, unplugged computing cards, tactile puzzles, stationery, and visual posters that make concepts accessible without constant screens.

Venues & workshop spaces

Safe, well-lit spaces with desks, power outlets, and accessible restrooms: school computer labs, community halls, libraries, or youth innovation centres.

Volunteer expertise & mentoring

Educators, software developers, community workers, and curriculum specialists willing to mentor children or assist with workshop facilitation.

Financial support for programme delivery

Funding to subsidise workshop transport, healthy snacks for learners, background vetting for volunteers, and sustained educational development.
